Rocky Women’s Basketball Falls in Rimrock Rivalry Exhibition Rematch 60-41

BILLINGS, Mont.- Fifteen different Battlin' Bears logged minutes in the second Rimrock Rivalry contest, seeing Rocky fall in a 60-41 exhibition. 

On top of fifteen different players checking in for the Battlin' Bears, ten of those logged points.  

How It Happened
The Yellowjackets would take the first swing, as a three-pointer gave MSU Billings a 9-6 lead through the first four minutes. Rocky would swing the momentum back in their favor, rattling off an 11-3 run to snag a three-point advantage going into the second quarter. 

A second-quarter line change for the Battlin' Bears would take some time to gel, as MSU Billings would score the first five points of the quarter, before Kiya Foran would break the scoring drought with a three-pointer before the media timeout to give the Battlin' Bears a one-point lead. Scoring would be hard to come by, as the Yellowjackets would sneak a one-point advantage going into halftime. 

The second half would belong squarely to the visiting Yellowjackets, outscoring Rocky 37-19 overall to take down the Battlin' Bears 60-41. 

Notable Statistics
Brenna Linse and Lexy Burnham each totaled eight points, while Paige Wasson scored seven. Burnham also grabbed seven rebounds, while four different players totaled two assists each. 

The Battlin' Bears shot 28.6% from the field and 23.5% from three, while being outrebounded 32 to 28 overall. Twenty-two of Rocky's 41 points came from the bench in defeat. 

Allison Kunze led all scorers with 16 points for the Yellowjackets.
