BILLINGS, Mont.- After breaking the program record and running a B-Standard qualifying time in the Steeplechase this weekend, senior Grace Timm was named Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Track Athlete of the Week.

Timm, a senior from Laurel, Montana, was named Track Athlete of the Week for the second time in her Battlin' Bear career. At the Blue Hawk Games in Dickinson, North Dakota, this weekend, Timm ran a B-Standard qualifying time of 11:09.64 in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase, winning the event. She also broke a 12-year program record held by Ana Richter, which was set in 2013 at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships. Her time is the fifth-best in the NAIA this season and leads the Frontier Conference.

The qualification marks the second time in a Battlin' Bear uniform that Timm has earned an individual qualification to the NAIA Championships in Track, after competing in the mile indoors this winter. She has also competed twice in relays, once outdoors last season in the 4x800 meter and the DMR during indoors this winter, earning All-American honors.

The qualification also marks her second career trip to the Outdoor Championships in the Steeplechase, doing so in 2023 at Dickinson State, where she finished 15th overall.
