BELLEVUE, Neb. - Rocky Volleyball dropped their first of two matchups on the road this weekend in straight sets on Friday evening.

How It Happened

The Bruin defense overwhelmed the Battlin' Bears throughout, holding Rocky to a -.056 hitting percentage on the night. On the other side, the 2024 NAIA National Championship Runner-Ups from Bellevue had a commanding night, tallying 40 kills with only 12 attack errors on a .350 hitting percentage.

Kaitlyn Wood led the Battlin' Bears with five kills. Ella Kincaid tallied eight assists and Lauren Rodacker totaled six digs to lead the team.

Bellevue featured five different players with five or more kills in the match, led by Kealy Kiviniemi and Payton Dzingle with six.
