Rocky Men’s Soccer Falls 1-0 to Carroll College at Home

BILLINGS, Mont.- Rocky Men's Soccer falls in a physical matchup against Carroll College 1-0 to open the CCC conference slate on Friday. 

The conference opener was a defensive slugfest, with both teams battling for every possession. Ultimately, a header by the Fighting Saints in the 21st minute proved to be the difference. 

How It Happened
Carroll College scored the lone goal of the match early in the first half, as after a rocketed pass into the box was deflected into the air, Carroll's Nil Benning connected with the ball high in the air to find the net for the eventual game winner. 

Rocky's defense held strong throughout, giving them a chance in the contest, holding the Fighting Saints to just five total shots in the contest. 

Anton Wilms saved three of the four shots he faced in the defeat, while Fynn Sweeting and Luke Tooze each put a shot on frame.
