BILLINGS, Mont.- Paige Wasson, Isabelle Heggem, and Brenna Linse all scored 20+ points to lead Rocky past the University of Providence, completing a 12-0 home record for the regular season.

The Battlin' Bears continued a hot stretch offensively, tying their season-high with 13 three-pointers and totaling their second-highest point total this season.

How It Happened

After a back-and-forth start saw the Argos take a slight 10-9 lead, the Battlin' Bears erupted to close the first quarter, keeping Providence scoreless for six minutes, totaling a tone-setting 20-2 run to close the quarter, expanding an early 29-12 advantage entering the second quarter.

The Battlin' Bear momentum continued early in the second quarter, beginning on a 7-2 run. Rocky would hold their double-digit lead throughout the quarter, as Isabelle Heggem would drain a buzzer-beating three to close the half with a 53-35 lead. Rocky's offense was red hot to open the first half, shooting over 70% from the field in the first quarter and 52% in the second.

For the first time of the weekend, Rocky's offense slowed down, as the Argos would begin to chip away at their deficit with a 17-4 run midway through the third quarter, but the Battlin' Bear lead still remained at double-digits.

Providence would finally cut their deficit to single digits, opening the fourth quarter thanks to an 8-3 start. Rocky's offense would overmatch the Argos to close the contest, as Rocky made five of their final six shots from the field, as well as all four of their free throw attempts in the final five minutes. Celebrating her senior night, Brenna Linse led the charge with six points down the stretch to lead the Battlin' Bears to a 91-81 victory in the Fortin Education Center.
