SIOUX CENTER, Iowa.- Rocky Women's Basketball kept their season alive with a victory over Southern Oregon, moving on to take No. 1-seed Dordt University on Saturday afternoon with a trip to the final site on the line.

Southern Oregon came out firing to open the second half. After Paige Wasson opened the scoring with a layup, the Raiders went on a 13-0 run to cut their deficit to one point. The Battlin' Bear scoring trio of Brenna Linse, Isabelle Heggem, and Paige Wasson put together a dominant response, combining for 20 points over the next five minutes to game time, pushing the Rocky lead back to double-digits. Wasson totaled 12 points in the third quarter alone, helping extend Rocky's advantage back to 11 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Battlin' Bear defense clinched their victory in the fourth quarter, holding Southern Oregon to just two made field goals over the first eight minutes of the final period, pushing a lead as large as 19 on their way to a First Round victory in the NAIA Women's Basketball National Championship Tournament.
