Rocky Men’s Basketball Cruises to a 108-36 Victory Over Portland Bible College

GREAT FALLS, Mont. Oct 27, 2022- Rocky Men's Basketball kicked off their season on a high note, cruising to a 108-36 victory over Portland Bible College in Great Falls. 

Kace Kitchel led the Battlin' Bears in scoring in his Rocky debut, scoring 22 points and grabbing six rebounds. Kael Robinson added 14 points, Elliott Brooks totaled 13 points, four rebounds, five assists, and four steals, and Nick Hart added 12 points and seven steals in the victory. The Battlin' Bears finished with seven players scoring double digits points. 

Isaac Johnson led Portland Bible College with nine points and six rebounds and Trevor Vermillion totalled seven points, five rebounds and two blocks. 

"It was good to see seven guys score in double figures." Coach Bill Dreikosen said. "I like that we had 27 assists as well, showing we shared the ball well. Short turnaround for tomorrows 9:30am game so we'll need to be ready."

The Battlin' Bears will take on Southern Alberta Institute of Technology tomorrow morning at 9:30 am in Great Falls.
