Rocky Women’s Basketball Suffers First Loss Against #2 Indiana Wesleyan

CHANDLER, Ariz.- The Battlin' Bears had a night to forget against the second-ranked Wildcats to conclude the Cactus Classic. 

Not much went the way of the Battlin' Bears on Friday afternoon, as the second quarter was the lone quarter the Rocky women scored in double figures as a team. The Battlin' Bears finished the game shooting 25% from the field, 35.3% from three-point range, and 36.4% from the free throw line. Rocky turned the ball over 25 times in their losing effort and allowed 25 offensive rebounds. 

The 12th-ranked Battlin' Bears (9-1) will look to shake off their performance on Friday when they return home to host the Hampton Inn Green and Gold Classic, where they will take on Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Dickinson State at Lockwood High School.
