GAME NOTES: Rocky Women Look for Rimrock Rivalry Season Series Victory

BILLINGS, Mont.- The Battlin' Bears take on cross-town rival MSU Billings for the second time this season in an exhibition matchup on Herb Klindt Field.

- This is the second exhibition matchup of the season between the Battlin' Bears and the Yellowjackets. 
- Freshman Mya Maack was the star of the first matchup, with two second half goals to tie the game at 3-3. 
- The Battlin' Bears return eight starters from a season ago.
- Newcomers to the Women's Soccer program include two transfer students and five incoming freshmen. 

Offensive Notes
- Rocky's 10.83 shots per game ranked eighth best in the Cascade Conference in 2022.
- In 2023 so far, freshman Mya Maack is tied for 1st in the conference with 10 total shots and tied for second with five of them being on goal. 

Defensive Notes
- The Battlin' Bears were a strong defensive group a season ago, allowing less than a goal a game in 2022. 
- All three goalkeepers on the roster are newcomers, with all three seeing playing time to begin 2023.
