BILLINGS, Mont.- For the second consecutive season, defensive back Kaysan Barnett was tabbed an All-American by the NAIA Football Coaches, announced Wednesday morning. 

Barnett, a senior from Phoenix, Arizona, was again a standout in Rocky's defensive backfield this season. Playing in a hybrid role, Barnett tallied a career-high 61 total tackles, including 43 solo tackles on the season and six tackles for loss. Returning for his senior season as a First Team All-American honor in 2023, Barnett did not have many passes thrown in his direction in 2024 but made impact plays when they were, leading the team with seven pass deflections and grabbing an interception. 

Barnett concludes his decorated Battlin' Bear career with seven total All-Conference honors, a First Team All-American honor, an Honorable Mention All-American nod, and this season's Third Team All-American award. He wrapped up his career tied for second in program history with 11 career interceptions and second in program history in total punt return yards with 648.
