Charlize Davis bested her own school record in the 60-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 8.98 seconds, the first sub-nine-second 60-meter race in program history. She'll look to improve her mark to reach the qualifying standard of 8.87 seconds.

After entering the competition at 1.45 meters, Brooke Wirkkala surpassed 1.45 and 1.50 meters on her first attempt before concluding with a successful third attempt at 1.55 meters to win the women's high jump—her jump of 1.55 meters ties both the program record and her personal best.

Men's Notable Results

Ryan LaMere set the new 60-meter program record in just his second collegiate meet, finishing fourth overall with a time of 7.03 seconds. The record had stood for six years, as Brenden Leaming owned the top ten finishes in program history before LaMere ran now the first and third fastest times in his first two collegiate competitions.

Trystin Chapel had an eventful collegiate debut, setting the new program record in the men's triple jump with a final mark of 13.32 meters, placing second overall. He's the first Battlin' Bear to surpass 13 meters in the triple jump. Chapel also recorded the fourth-best long jump mark in program history, taking third place with a final mark of 6.45 meters. The Rocky men's long jump record holder, Drifter Skillicorn, followed in fifth place with a mark of 6.36 meters, the tenth best all-time.
