BILLINGS, Mont.- Redshirt freshman Darius Haskin continually impacts games for the Battlin' Bears, this week doing it on special teams, as his 97-yard kickoff return for a touchdown nets him Frontier Conference Special Teams Player of the Week. 

Darius Haskin, a redshirt freshman from Buckeye, Arizona, has been a dominant player on the offensive end this season at his wide receiver position, but expanded his impact to special teams, where he made his first appearance as a kick returner this season. On his second return of the game, Haskin went untouched for 97 yards and a touchdown to match Valley City's first score of the game. 

In Rocky's 31-21 victory over the Vikings, Haskin totaled 182 all-purpose yards, 110 yards on kick returns, and another 72 yards receiving, including another touchdown. On top of being the East Division's top receiver this season in total yards (605), yards per game (121.0), and touchdowns (7), he is also now one of just three players in the division to return a kickoff touchdown this season. 

The honor marks the first of Haskin's career.
