Jetmore Achieves A-Standard Vault; Women’s DMR Officially Qualifies on Final Day of Mountain State Games

POCATELLO, Idaho.- Jay Jetmore vaulted the fourth-best mark in the NAIA this season to highlight the final day of competition in Pocatello. 

Women's Notable Results - Saturday

The Battlin' Bear Distance Medley Relay team officially made a B-Standard finish, with the official altitude adjustment making their finish on Friday at 12:17.13, the 15th-best time in the NAIA this season. 

Kellan Wahl again broke her own program record in the 60-meter finals, finishing fourth with a time of 7.70 seconds. Charlize Davis placed tenth with a time of 7.95 seconds. 

Men's Notable Results - Saturday

Jay Jetmore earned the new program record in the Pole Vault after Braden Tomlin secured the record earlier this season, vaulting 4.95 meters (16' 2.75") to earn an A-Standard mark. His mark ties for the third-best in the NAIA this season and improves his B-Standard mark of 4.75 meters from earlier this season. The Battlin' Bears now own two of the top nine marks in the country, as Jetmore and Tomlin have earned A-Standard marks this season. 

Campbell Smith tied the program record with a new personal best of 1.83 meters (6' 0") in the high jump, earning a 10th-place finish. 

Trystin Chapel totaled the second-best triple jump mark in program history, leaping 13.36 meters (43' 10') to place sixth overall. 

The Battlin' Bear 4x400-meter relay team of Aiden Lantis, Drifter Skillicorn, Seth Petsch, and Ryan LaMere took seventh place with a time of 3:30.70, the fourth-best finish in program history. 

Abram King finished seventh in his first collegiate Heptathlon with a total score of 3,326. On Saturday, he posted the fifth-fastest 1,000-meter time, crossing the line in 3:12.16. 

Six of Rocky's seven participants in the mile ran personal bests, led by Caleb Tomac's 26th-place finish in 4:26.61.

Rocky Track and Field will conclude their regular season in Bozeman next Thursday in the Big Sky Tuner, hosted by Montana State University.
