HELENA, Mont.- Freshman Trystin Chapel earned an individual victory in the men's long jump, while the Battlin' Bear women's 4x800 meter relay edged out a win thanks to a strong finish to highlight the first day of competition in Helena.

Women's Notable Results

The Rocky 4x800-Meter Relay team of Tyne Stokes, Kallyn Wilkins, Grace Timm, and Maya Pearcy won an exciting championship race, edging Carroll College by a tenth of a second, crossing the line in 9:28.34. The time ranks fourth in program history, as the combination of Stokes, Wilkins, Timm, and Pearcy now holds three of the top-five times in program history.
