WINTER PARK, Colo.- A pair of 2025 national champions earned individual victories as the Battlin' Bears opened USCSA Conference action with Slalom wins in Colorado. 

Women's Slalom Individual Results

The Battlin' Bears swept the top four spots in commanding fashion on Sunday, led by an individual victory from Synne Kvinlog with a total time of 1:32.66, over seven seconds ahead of any other non-RMC competitor. Elisabeth Grimkelsrud followed shortly behind in second place with a total time of 1:32.68, while Linnea Olesen (1:35.56) finished third and Jenny Sjøtun placed fourth overall (1:37.03). 

Courtney Bumpers (7th place; 1:40.49), Klara Almqvist (8th place; 1:40.57), and Sara Akerstrom (10th place; 1:44.49) rounded out the top ten overall, which included seven total Battlin' Bears. 

Rounding out the Battlin' Bear finishers were Paige Heinz (18th place; 1:46.76), Malia Grantor (20th place; 1:49.61), and Mikayla Murolo (41st place; 2:16.25). 

Men's Slalom Individual Results

A dominant effort from the Rocky men saw them sweep five of the top six places, led by an individual victory by Jules Clerice with a total time of 1:44.77. Fredrik Straume followed in second place with a time of 1:25.60, and Aniol Torres placed third overall with a time of 1:27.11. 

William Mjelde placed fifth with a time of 1:29.48 and Nick Tibro placed sixth with a total time of 1:30.86 to round out Rocky's top-ten finishers. 

Also finishing for the Battlin' Bears included Landon Marquis (14th place; 1:38.68), and Oliver Sapak (28th place; 1:51.49).
