BILLINGS, Mont.- Freshman Keenan Morris was named the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Field Athlete of the Week following a new program record and the top pole vault mark in the NAIA this season.

Keenan Morris, a freshman from Billings, Montana, already held the top mark in the NAIA this season in the pole vault at 5.01 meters, but surpassed that mark at the RMC/MSUB Dual meet at Lockwood High School, clearing 5.05 meters (16' 6.75") to earn Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Field Athlete of the Week.

He is one of just three pole vaulters in the NAIA this season to clear 5.00 meters, as he holds the top mark in the NAIA this season by two inches heading into the home stretch of the season.

The award is the second of Morris' young career at RMC.

John Spinti, a sophomore from Great Falls, Montana, earned a 'B' Standard time in the 10,000 meters at the Trudnowski Open in Helena. Spinti ran a 31:18.87, the second-fastest time in program history, and received an altitude-adjusted time of 30:36.72, ranking as the seventh-fastest time in the NAIA this season. The sophomore was an All-American in cross country this season and finished 11th in the 5,000-meters during indoors.

This is Spinti's third athlete of the week honor of his career.
