BILLINGS, Mont.- Freshman Keenan Morris was named the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Field Athlete of the Week following a new program record and the top pole vault mark in the NAIA this season. 

Keenan Morris, a freshman from Billings, Montana, recorded the top mark in the NAIA this season in pole vault at 5.01 meters (16 feet, 5.25 inches) in Butte on Saturday. His mark set a new program record and is the best mark by a freshman in the NAIA since April of 2023. 

His mark also secured an 'A' Standard mark, as he became the third Battlin' Bear in as many seasons to qualify for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships in pole vault. 

The honor marks the first of Morris' career as a Battlin' Bear.
