BILLINGS, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain College women's soccer team released its schedule for the 2018 season this afternoon. The Battlin' Bears will play 17 countable games, including nine home contests.
Rocky's non-conference slate includes a game at Providence (Mont.) on August 28 to start the season. They are then home over Labor Day Weekend to host a tournament that includes games against Briar Cliff on September 1 and Mid-American Christian on September 3. Providence will also be in town for the weekend to play the opposite opponent from Rocky each day.
The Battlin' Bears close out the non-conference action in California with two games. They visit Westmont – a team that reached the quarterfinals of the NAIA National Championship last season – on September 8 in Santa Barbara, California. Rocky then plays at Marymount on September 9 on Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Cascade Collegiate Conference play begins on September 14 at Southern Oregon. Rocky then plays at Oregon Tech on September 15.
A stretch of five home games in six contests starts against College of Idaho on September 22. After a trip to Eastern Oregon on September 30, the Battlin' Bears host Carroll, Providence, Corban, and Northwest Christian the following two weekends in Billings.
Rocky will spend October 19-20 in Portland, Ore., for games at Warner Pacific and Multnomah respectively. They close the regular season with home games against Evergreen State on October 26 and Northwest on October 28.
The 2018 CCC Tournament will return to Springfield, Ore. on November 2-5 with the top eight teams qualifying for the single-elimination tournament.
The Battlin' Bears will host crosstown rival, MSU Billings, in an exhibition game on August 17 at Herb Klindt Field.
