Rocky Mountain College's Brenden Leaming Selected to CoSIDA All-District Team

BILLINGS, Mont. – Brenden Leaming was selected to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic All-District Men's Track & Field/Cross Country teams by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Tuesday morning.

Among 10 student-athletes selected from district four, Leaming graduated from Rocky Mountain College in May with one of the most accomplished careers in program history.

A two-time All-American, Leaming earned All-American honors IN 2019 after running the 400m stretch of Rocky's seventh place distance medley relay team at the 2019 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships. Leaming earned his first All-American selection as part of the fifth place 2016 distance medley relay team.

Leaming holds seven separate school records. He set the men's record in the 60m, 200m, and 4x400m relay for indoor track while also setting records for the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay in men's outdoor track.

Awarded the Dean's Cup, Leaming graduated from Rocky Mountain College with a 3.97 GPA. He plans to pursue a doctorate degree in physical therapy at Eastern Washington University.

With the All-District selection, Leaming is now an eligible nominee for CoSIDA's Academic All-American Team.
