BILLINGS, Mont. – No. 14 ranked Rocky Mountain College finished in fourth among 10 teams competing at the Frontier Preview Meet.
The Battlin' Bears were led by
Ruth Chepsat's second place finish on a time of 19:28.50. The junior from Eldoret, Kenya finished only behind Carroll College's Reghan Worley who took first with a time of 19:16.70.
Running a time of 20:21.60, Rocky's
Courtney Hallock placed in ninth.
Sydney Little Light placed in 14th on a time of 20:35.00.
Carrie Daniels finished in 30th after running a time of 21:30.30.
Carina Bracy and
Mei-Li Stevens finished within a single second of each other in 32nd and 33rd place. Bracy ran 21:36.00 while Stevens ran 21.37.80.
Black Hills State finished in first with four finishers in the top 15.
Rocky Mountain College will next compete at the Providence Open in Great Falls, Montana on Sept. 20.
