GAME NOTES: Rocky Soccer Travels to Oregon to Take on Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon

BILLINGS, Mont.- The Battlin' Bears hit the road again as both teams look to come home with road victories at Oregon Tech and Southern Oregon.

- The Rocky Men lead 8-2 against Oregon Tech and trail 3-5-1 against Southern Oregon in all-time matchups. 
- The Battlin' Bears won their first eight matchups against OIT, but the Owls have now won consecutive matchups. 
- The Rocky men will look for their first win in Ashland since the 2016 season, their first matchup at Southern Oregon.

Offensive Notes (Men's)

- Liam Pearce's 13 shots in the 6-0 victory over Walla Walla was the most by a Battlin' Bear in a single game of all time. His eight shots on goal also set a new single game record. 
- Igor Soares scored two goals in the victory against Walla Walla, the second time he's done so this season. He's the only Battlin' Bear to score two or more goals in a single game this season. 
-Saturday's victory was the second match this season the Rocky men tallied more than 20 total shots and more than 10 shots on goal. 

Offensive Notes (Women's)

- The Battlin' Bears will look to bounce back after a tough offensive stretch against EOU and COI, where they were held to only eight shots on the weekend. They have not had a single game with less than nine shots this season otherwise. 
- Eight different Battlin' Bears have scored this season. 
- The Rocky women rank fourth in the Cascade Conference in shots per game 

Defensive Notes (Men's)

- The Battlin' Bears defense pitched their second shutout of the season, holding the Wolves of Walla Walla to just two shots, both of which were saved by Stefan Schenk
- The match versus Walla Walla was the second time this season Rocky has held their opponent to single digit shots. 
        
Defensive Notes (Women's)

- Hannah Trumbull checked in at goalie in the second half of Rocky's loss against COI and recorded a career high five saves. 
- The Battlin' Bears defended 11 corner kicks in their loss to Eastern Oregon, the most this season. 
- The Rocky women are still seeking their first shutout of the season.
