Sydney Little Light and Jackson Wilson Earn All-American Honors After Final Day of NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championship

MARION, Ind.- Sydney Little Light and Jackson Wilson each tallied their third All-American honor of the 2022-23 season with their performances on Friday.

Little Light finished in third place in the Women's 1,500-Meters with a time of 4:26.78, just under a second off of her personal best. Little Light's finish earns her 10th All-American honor as she caps off a decorated career with the Battlin' Bears.

Wilson finished in fourth place in the Men's 5,000 with a time of 14:39.43, also less than a second off of his personal best. After Wilson ran the 13th fastest time in the preliminaries on Thursday, the now seven-time All-American stuck with the lead pack throughout the race and displayed an impressive kick to secure fourth place in Marion.

Jay Jetmore and Braden Tomlin each competed in the Men's Pole Vault on Friday, but did not record a mark.

The Battlin' Bears concluded another successful outdoor season, which included 20 All-Conference honors, five Individual Conference Champions, four national qualifiers, and the Women's Track Athlete of the Year (Sydney Little Light).
