Rocky Track and Field Achieves Multiple Personal Bests in Saturday’s Tom Gage Classic

BOZEMAN, Mont.- Sydney Little Light took the victory in the 1,500-Meter to highlight the Battlin' Bears performance at Saturday's Tom Gage Classic.

Saturday's Highlights

Sydney Little Light paced a field full of NCAA D-I runners on her way to an individual victory and a season best 4:29.33 (4:23.52 adjusted), an NAIA A-Standard time and the fifth fastest time in the nation this season.

Seth Petsch ran a new personal best 1:54.78 in the Men's 800, placing him fourth place overall and first amongst NAIA runners. Eric Morgan finished ninth overall.

Justin Glass also ran a new personal best, his being in the 1,500, as he crossed the line in 4:12.99.

Tyne Stokes finished with a personal best in the 800, finishing in 2:27.19, with teammate Rylie Schoenfeld finishing right in front of her in 2:27.15.

Braden Tomlin finished in sixth place in the Long Jump with a mark of 6.40 meters.

The Battlin' Bears will continue preparation for the NAIA National Championship Meet, which will be held in Marion, Indiana beginning on May 24th.
