Jackson Wilson’s All-American Finish Highlights Rocky Track and Field’s Performance at the NAIA Indoor T/F National Championship

BROOKINGS, S.D. - Jackson Wilson tallied his ninth career All-American honor and his third consecutive season as an All-American in the 3,000-meter as the Battlin' Bears concluded action at the 2024 Indoor Championships on Saturday.

Jackson Wilson finished fourth overall in the 3,000 meters at 8:20.04. The senior from Box Elder has earned All-American honors in the 3,000 for three consecutive seasons. 

Braden Tomlin began competition on Saturday, finishing 10th overall with a final mark of 4.75 meters in the men's pole vault. Tomlin bowed out after three attempts at 4.85 meters. 

Matthew Conrad earned his way to the men's mile finals, where he finished 10th overall with a time of 4:28.18. 

After a successful indoor track season that featured five Battlin' Bears earning a trip to the National Championship meet, as well as numerous school record-breaking finishes, Rocky Track and Field will shift its focus to the outdoor season.
