GAINESVILLE, Fla.- Two Battlin' Bears represented Rocky on the second day of the NAIA Indoor National Championships, earning strong finishes in their respective events.

Grace Timm, a senior from Laurel, Montana, competed in the Women's Mile, taking 15th overall with a time of 5:11.83. Timm hung strong with the lead pack of her heat that did not separate from each other for the first 1,200 meters of the race. As the race's final two laps came, the competitors in the second heat separated in their kick. Timm responded well, running her two fastest 200-meter splits over the final two trips around the track, narrowly finishing 7th in her heat and 15th overall. The finish was her fastest non-altitude adjusted time of her Battlin' Bear career.

Charlize Davis, a sophomore from Billings, Montana, competed in the Women's 60-Meter Hurdles for the second time in as many seasons with Rocky Track and Field. After a stumble on the second-to-last hurdle for Davis, the dual sport sophomore finished 23rd overall with a time of 9.00 seconds, tying herself for the fifth-best mark in program history. Her placement improves by 12 from her 2024 Indoor National Championship performance, after taking 35th with a time of 9.44 seconds.
