BILLINGS, Mont.- Following an 'A' Standard finish and the third fastest time in the NAIA this season in the 800-meters, junior Maya Pearcy was named the Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Track Athlete of the Week. 

Maya Pearcy, a junior from Columbus, Wisconsin, dashed to a program record finish in the 800-meter at the U-Mary Winter Classic in Bismarck, North Dakota, this past weekend, crossing the line in 2:14.85, converted to 2:13.32 (track size). Her finish earned Rocky's first 'A' Standard of the season, earning a qualification for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships. The time ranks third in the NAIA this season, as she is one of just five athletes to surpass the 'A' Standard mark of 2:14.73, and the fastest time in the Frontier this season by nearly seven seconds. 

Pearcy was an All-American on the Distance Medley Relay team during indoor last season and an All-American on the 4x800-meter Relay team outdoors, while also securing a 13th-place finish in the 800-meter at the NAIA Outdoor T/F Championships in 2025. 

The award marks the first of Pearcy's career at Rocky Mountain College
