BILLINGS, Mont.- Sophomore Isabelle Heggem earned her seventh Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season following a pair of dominant road victories for Rocky Women's Basketball. 

Isabelle Heggem, a sophomore forward from Winifred, Montana, had another standout defensive weekend, as Rocky totaled two wins by an average margin of victory of 27 points. 

In Friday's 95-67 win over Mayville State, Heggem recorded 17 rebounds, four steals, and three blocks, adding 12 points offensively. In Saturday's 82-56 win over Valley City State, she tallied ten rebounds and four blocks, also scoring 10 points in a lopsided victory. 

Out of 17 Erck Hotels/Frontier Conference Player of the Week honors during the 2025-26 regular season, Heggem tallied seven defensive honors and one offensive Player of the Week award, pushing her career total to nine weekly honors. 

With the regular season completed over the weekend, Heggem finished the year ranking first in the conference and second in the NAIA with 75 total blocks this season. She also paced the Frontier in rebounds per game (11.7). 

Rocky Women's Basketball now prepares for the Frontier Conference Tournament this upcoming weekend in Butte, Montana. The fourth-seeded Battlin' Bears take on fifth seed MSU-Northern at 12:00 pm (MT) on Saturday.
