Paige Wasson Named 2026 WBCA NAIA Coaches’ All-American

ATLANTA, Ga.- Sophomore Paige Wasson was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association as a 2026 WBCA NAIA Coaches' All-American. 

The WBCA NAIA Coach of the Year, Player of the Year, and Coaches' All-America team are selected by the WBCA NAIA Awards Committee from coaches and student-athletes who are nominated by WBCA member coaches.

"We applaud the members of the 2026 WBCA NAIA Coaches' All-America team," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle M. Donehew. "Each of these young women has achieved an elite level of play within the NAIA and by doing so has increased public awareness of the women's game."

Wasson was one of ten NAIA student-athletes selected with All-American Honors, as well as the lone Frontier Conference recipient. In a standout 2025-26 season, she averaged 20.8 points per game, 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals, while shooting 47.9% from the field and 37.8% from three-point range. 

Her 624 points and 88 made three-pointers this season rank second all-time in program history, while she already ranks fifth in school history in scoring through just two seasons of play, scoring 975 points in her first two collegiate seasons. 

The Whitewater, Montana, product joins N'Dea Flye (2022). just the second Battlin' Bear in program history to earn WBCA All-American honors, dating back to 1985.
