Paige Wasson Tabbed NAIA First Team All-American

3/30/2026 10:20:00 AM

KANSAS CITY, Mo.- Sophomore Paige Wasson becomes the third First Team All-American in program history, announced by the NAIA on Monday morning.

Wasson is the fourth Battlin' Bear to earn All-American honors over the past five seasons, as she joins N'Dea Flye (2022) and Markaela Francis (2020) as the only Battlin' Bears to earn First Team recognition.

Paige Wasson, a sophomore from Whitewater, Montana, averaged 20.8 points per game, ranking ninth in the NAIA this season. Her 624 total points ranked second all-time in a single season in program history, as she has already moved up to fifth all-time in career points, totaling 975 points in just two seasons. Her 88 made three-pointers were just one shy of the program record in a single season and were the tenth most in the NAIA this season.

A model of consistency for the Battlin' Bears, who made their eighth trip to the NAIA National Championships since 2017, Wasson scored in double-figures in all 30 games she played in this season, including four games of 30 or more points, seven games totaling five or more three-pointers, and nine double-doubles.

In addition to being one of the top scoring threats in the NAIA, Wasson averaged 7.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game. Her 231 rebounds this season ranked eighth-most in program history.

Wasson was joined by Dakota State's Tabor Teel on the NAIA First Team list, as four Frontier Conference student-athletes were honored on the All-American list for 2026.
