WHITEFISH, Mont. – Three Battlin' Bears earned postseason conference honors as announced by the Frontier Conference Tuesday.
Selected First Team All-Conference,
Alecia Chamberlin also earned the Frontier Conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Year honor. The senior from Miles City, Mont., averaged 11.5 points to lead the Battlin' Bears in scoring this season. She pulled in a team-high 45 steals in addition to 149 rebounds.
Kloie Thatcher earned the Frontier Conference's Freshman of the Year honor. From Butte, Mont., Thatcher was also selected Honorable Mention All-Conference. Thatcher averaged 8.38 points and 1.31 steals per game. Averaging four per game, Thatcher's 128 total assists this season ranked second in the Frontier Conference and 18th in the NAIA Division 1.
Markaela Francis earned Second Team All-Conference honors for the Frontier Conference. Averaging 11 points per game, the junior from Great Falls, Mont., recorded a team-high 175 rebounds in addition to 55 assists and 20 steals. Francis was previously selected Honorable Mention All-Conference for the 2017-2018 season.
