BILLINGS– March 26, 2020 – Rocky Mountain College is honored to announce that Markaela Francis has been named first team NAIA women's basketball All-America.

The 6-foot forward senior from Great Falls, Montana, joined nine others on the coveted list of first team recipients.

Francis, who was recently named the 2020 Frontier Conference Player of the Year, helped lead the Battlin' Bears to a fourth place conference finish (10-8) as well as a 19-11 overall record. 

Francis averaged 17.7 points per game and 9.5 rebounds this past season. For her career, she accumulated 1,331 points and 770 rebounds.

Francis will graduate this May and aims to pursue a career as a dentist.
