Rocky Track and Field Compiled Personal Bests in the Second Day of the Whitworth Indoor Invitational

SPOKANE, Wash.- Five of the six Battlin' Bears who competed Saturday set new career bests as Rocky Track and Field competed in the Whitworth Indoor Invitational on Saturday.

Kellen Wahl set a personal best and new Rocky school record in the women's 60 meter dash with a time of 7.85 seconds, putting her in 10th place.

Five Battlin' Bears competed in a loaded field in the women's 3000 meter race. Kallyn Wilkins led the charge for Rocky, finishing in 25th place with a time of 11:08.71. The rest of the Battlin' Bears followed shortly after, as Jayden Woodland finished in 27th place with a time of 11:10.48, Rylie Schoenfeld finished in 28th place with a time of 11:17.95, Chloe Bryntesen finished in 31st place with a time of 11:20.36, and Tyne Stokes finished in 34th place with a time of 11:32.80. Wilkins, Schoenfeld, Bryntesen, and Stokes all ran personal bests.

The Battlin' Bears will head to Bozeman on Friday, February 17th for the Big Sky Tuner.
